New member here - Virginia from Metter Georgia - just purchased 5 hens from TSC. Was also gifted with 15 silkies but as they grew I have 10 roosters and 5 hens so looking to see who would like a rooster! Seems impossible to buy them sexed or I would purchase more hens. Any thoughts on how to stop them arguing until I can re-home a few roosters?

thank you all for the welcome - much appreciated. Guess I found one of the down sides to this chicken raising endeavor - too many roosters. thought there may not be a magic trick but had to ask.

Young silkies (under 4-5 mos.) are always a gamble. Very difficult to sex and sometimes you don't know until they crow or lay eggs. Beware of folks giving away silkies
