grinding feed

on northern bobwhites at what age should i stop grinding their feed. lm using a coffee grinder its not hard and i dont mind doing it l have about 40 1 wk old now in a gqf brooder. thanks for your help.

Usually sometime between 1 to 2 weeks you can stop grinding the feed. It depends on the brand of feed. Some is ground more fine than others. Just watch them when you switch to make sure they can eat their food.
