Grit for 3 and 1/2 Week Old Chicks?

I guess it is about time to start feeding my chicks some grit, isn't it?


Will sand work?


Or do I have to buy something special for them?

I think sand will work. Grit is just little gravel.

I start chick grit, when they start eating, i get the one from TSC for baby chicks, it has anise in it, which help sooth the tummy and digestive,
and i haven't had any poop problems since i have been doing this
