Grit for ducklings

Hello all
I have 12 duckling's had them for a week now and was wondering if I can give chick grit since I have 8LB of it for my chicks. can I offer that to them also.

Yep. I offer free choice chick grit to my ducklings. Not so important if all you give them is their regular feed, but if you give them any other food, they need it.
 
I followed Storey's Guide and sprinkled a teaspoon on their food once a day just in case some nutty duckling got the food and the grit confused. There is a story in the book about a poor duckling who ate so much grit it could not eat its food. I was actually rather anxious the first couple of months, with all the stories of unusual problems with ducklings.

That's kind of what I do, but I put it in a pile in the center of the bowl. It usually winds up getting mixed up with the rest of the food in short order.
