Grody looking eggs?

Every so often i get an egg like this, I ordinarily dont wash the eggs but sometimes they are too poopy or whatever to not. And then therenis whatever this is. It looks more like a slime layer than an actual shell color. Any insight?

Duck eggs can sometimes have that color (or slime, whatever you want to call it), and I bet it's coming from your Rouens. ( At least, mine do, the most)

I might be able to provide some additional info on the topic, but you may have to send a few of those jars my way before I do.
