I just aquired a pack of growgel and I was reading the directions and it says add a 1/2 cup of water to the mixture. And its enough for 200 chickens. Well I only have 3 that were hatched Friday. Do I still use the whole packet? And can I go ahead and give some to my 1 week old chicks? A friend and I got this shipment together and she gave me the box they came in, and I wanted to save the box so I threw out the bedding and that is how I found the Grogel.

You can just use a little at a time. No need to waste the whole packet.

So do you think a table spoon to their water? I use the guess you would say quart size. the small waters.

You don't add it to their water, you mix it in a separate container. It gets a jello-like consistency. You can just put it into the lid of a pickle jar and place it in the brooder, or sprinkle it over their food. You will only need about a 1/2 or 1/4 teaspoon for them, as it will expand.

Okay I just took the water out and mixed 1/4 tsp with some water. Its there now with them. Do I still keep their reg water in there as well? Wow sorry for all the questions lol

Yep, you can still leave their regular water in with them. No problem
