Grooming a Silkie

At what age can you start to groom a silkie and what is the process?? What kind of shampoo, combs, brush etc??

Unless you plan on showing, there is no need to bathe them.

I haven't shown my Silkies, but I still bathe them once in awhile, when they need it. Sometimes they get really grubby looking and need a bath. I use baby shampoo and conditioner and blow them dry. If you search the user list for PouletsdeCajun, he had a good thread on bathing Silkies some time ago. Good luck! They really look nice after a good bath.....
