I am new here and new to chickens. Can anyone tell me if ground hogs will bother the chickens or go after the eggs? I am sorry if this question seems silly!

Groundhogs will undermine your place all over. Destroy a garden. If they leave other varmints will use their dens. So its best they are gone! Never seen one bother a chicken here. They love veggies thats all they eat, sweet potato plants dont have a chance!

Ground hogs should not hurt your chickens for sake of EATING them because they are herbivores. That's not saying that they could not kill them but I really don't think they would be interested in them at all.

They won't hurt your chickens, but I can tell you that a groundhog doesn't dare show it's ugly mug around here or it gets a little lead supplement added to it's diet!
