I have some silkie chicks now and just one 8 X 10 coop that will be divided into three 4 X 5 breeding pens for the adults. I will have to make a grow out pen soon. Any one have pictures of there grow out pens? I would like to know the dimensions, sq footage, and how many started birds you fit in each. I was thinking about making a dome pen. Anyone have good dome coop designs? I may make a run out of PVC pipe too. The hardest part is making it predator proof. Would it be okay if I let the started chicks in a coop that wasnt soo predator proof and put them in a dog cage at night? Does anyone do that? Any pictures, links, and info would be appreciated!
