My husband saw a post from a woman who said during the winter when her chickens aren't laying she gives them grower food. At what age is it okay to do that? Our chickens will be 11 weeks Saturday.

I actually just looked at the bag it is strater/ grower food. You can give it to them now, actually that's what chicks should be eating.
You can give them grower forever, or switch to layer feed when they start laying. But if you have a cockerel you may not want to feed layer, which in that case just give the grower and add oyster shells on the side when they start laying.I actually just looked at the bag it is strater/ grower food.
