growing back feathers

I have a young game rooster who my hens like to peck at his tail feathers. What is the best way to grow his feathers back?

How young is he? I wouldn't think he would allow it. Hens can be a real pain to any young cockerel but, once he comes into his hormones, they generally will leave him be.

He has control of the pen but they just peck at him every now and then and the feathers they pecked haven't grown back. I'm trying go figure out the best way to grow them back

I don't think there is anything you can do to make those feathers grow back, but likely he will get them back when he goes through a real molt - as long as the follicles are not damaged.

There are a number of threads on feather pecking/picking - and it can become a real pain to deal with. Make sure their coop and run has plenty of space to allow him room to distance from those doing the picking. Consider something to occupy and entertain all, a flock block can help.
