Hey all,
On of my Brahma chicks has a small growth like thing on its beak. It looks sort of like a wart and in the week that we've have them it looks like it's gotten slightly bigger. My main question is, is it just a wart or should I get the betadine ready in case it's dry pox?
It's the only chicken with the growth, the other 9 chicks seem fine, poops are normal and they are on Riverina chick starter. At the moment they are in a large plastic tub with sawdust bedding. Feeder always full and water changed twice daily mainly cause they keep kicking sawdust into it.
They will have a chicken tractor soon but I want to paint it first before I put the wire on but all this lovely Aussie rain has put a few dints in that plan.
