Growths on hen's head identification

If they are tumors, it could be from a virus such as Leukosis or Mareks disease, both common in chickens from affected flocks. She may live for awhile and do okay. I would try to clean out the ear, just in case there is some infection inside it. You can use some drops of hydrogen peroxide, and cotton applicators or clean it out. Antibiotic ointment can then be applied into the ear canal. Sorry if she may have tumors on her.

The vet didn't know what could be the cause and he hadn't heard of Marek. I have separated her tonight, she keeps going back in the flock, but I noticed a growth on another hen today so you may be right that it is Marek. The question now is how to stop this disease from affecting the other chicken in the flock. Anything I can give them as a prevention? I am posting a fresh picture of one of the tumors.
