The dreaded power outage!! how do they know when there are eggs in the incubator.
It went off in the night sometime but I dont know for how long. It was on at midnight and back on again when I got up at 7 am...... saw the dreaded flashing "12:00" as soon as I opened my eyes. Ran out to the incubator the temp was 97 I dont know if thats as low as it it (which I suspect it was not) Took till 11:30 for it to really stablize at 100 again, then the power went out again, this time I was prepared (well my husband was) he got a battery and inverter and hooked me up again. However, it only took him about 10 minutes to get me back up and running I was down to 95!!! That is why I suspect it went much lower then 97 during the over night outage. My temp has been running a bit low anyhow for a still air Im only at about 99.

Does anyone have any ideas what this has done to my hatch?

Your hatch may be slightly delayed, but I sure wouldn't worry about it. I recall the day I came home from work to find I had left the lid off the incubator when I turned the eggs that morning. They had cooled waaaaaay down, still had a hatch.

LOL opps!!! We all do things like that. I have been running a bit low anyhow, I have been bumping it up I just fear that we will get a really hot day and it will get hot in the house and cause the bator to spike while Im at work. So I do try to keep it around 100 which is low for still air. I will cancel Wednesday which is day 10 and see whats going on.

Mine seem to have survived 12 hours at 70 degrees (they aren't due yet so we'll see) so there is hope that yours will be just fine.
