Well me and hubby was just showing Daughters BF earlier about some repairs to our Large coop earlier so We can graduate the layer's We got from TSC this spring up there.I was just out closing the duck's and the other two coops up and thought it was my cat in upper field at first.Well then it moved at first I though small dog.I went over to close the and coop and got near fence and there it went just a scurrying.It is HUGE.Well guess I will be fluffing up the Havahart trap.But sorry to say no Havaheart once they trapped.Coon's have done NUMEROUS bird's in here.God bless our poor Jersey Giant's and RIR's young they got in that coop last year and about wiped them out.
.We had sold out and moved a lil after that and the poor feathers are still in some of the nest boxes where they were attacked in their sleep.We didnt do anything to the coops when we came back Nov 1st cause No bird's then.I was making plans today to clean up good and put new bedding and everything for the newbie's this weekend.Guess I gotta keep close watch and make double sure the other coop is super secure as well as getting the birds near house in before dark.Problems Problems baaaa.Got some ducks ready to graduate to pond soon too and 2 fox again so another issue.Hope the ducks have been penned long enough to go back at night never had any problems training my ducks so maybe they will at least be safe at night.Gonna be a long summer I think grrrrrrrrr.
