GSL cockarel??? Polish pullet??? Buff laced?

I went to my local feed store & bought two (what I thought were) female Golden sex links. That’s what the lady told me.

I now know that I have one Polish & a GSL…. but I’m not sure if they’re female.

I’ve been researching like crazy & now I’m not sure if the GSL is a GSL or honestly anything anymore!

Please help!!!!!

GSL has the white wings, Polish has brownish reddish wings (& had the tiniest puff ball on her head that grew into a mohawk).

They’re both 4 weeks now old now.

They are a bit young to sex accurately. I will say though that your other chick isn't a GSL.

Please post pics at 6 weeks old for the non-crested. 8 weeks for the Polish. We will need to see combs.

So there’s still hope that they might be female!

I keep thinking GSL’s shouldn’t be this confusing in color but I am 1000% a newbie so

& will do!!!

The chick without a crest isn't a GSL. Which is likely why the color is confusing.

Not unless it's a male. Males would be white. If it is a pullet, it could be a White Rock or a Leghorn. Time will tell.

I went back to the food store today & spoke to a few employees who are convinced it’s a Amberlink pullet! I hope they’re right!!
