My beagle has been doing awesome with my chickens, I've been so happy not worrying about her chasing or eating any chickens. Well about 5 weeks ago the chickens started slowing down on their producing, so I upped their feed a bit hoping they would come out of their slum, another few weeks down the road still the same not many eggs at all so I gave them free choice feed rather than their regular feed hoping that they'd pull out of it.
Two weeks later my little sister comes to me, your dog is sneaking eggs out of the chicken coop, I wasn't sure if I believed her or not then she pulled an egg out of the dog's mouth

I guess Peanut figured she should get paid for watching the chickens so well, next time I went into the coop she came with me, she was sniffing around the hens nests I got onto her little butt!

She had been burying them under the house so I'm waiting for the rotten egg smell.
She doesn't go out there anymore, that I can tell...

actually that can work great for you ! I have a friend whose dog did that and if you watch them and teach them that they get a reward after they CAREFULLY bring it to you you could set a basket by your house door and teach them to drop it lightly in it .. . . Of course you would still have to collect eggs yourself but she might be a little help
