These are. Couple young ducks who seem to be on their own, my SIL sent it to me.

A bit blurry and far away, but the streamlined body shape makes me think a diving duck so maybe a Merganser?

She said they were, I believe they have a call in to fish and wildlife, svc is iffy there. Said it’s been a few days, no adults. They are cute though. Not sure how young they would normally be cut loose but I thought they looked too young.

Is there a safe way to get out of that huge body of water like a beach?

Yeah, I think there are little beaches along, I’ve seen pictures of where they are looks like they have a Stoney beach. They said no adults around at all.

Sure doesn't look safe for ducklings out there. Probably can't even fly at that age.
