This two week old little biddy is one I suspect to be the packing peanut I got in an order from Welp. I ordered 5 Ameraucanas (EEs), and had initially suspected that they just threw an extra one in. I called Welp to see if they kept a record, and she told me that they didn't. But what she did tell me is that typically if you order just pullets, they usually stick with females. So I'm desperately hoping it's going to be a female, because it's my absolute favorite.
The reason I question her breed is because she's a bit smaller than the rest and has a lighter coloration than my other 5. The friendly lady at Welp told me that some Speckled Sussex and Sicilian Buttercups look like EEs when they're babies. What do y'all think about her breed??
My little girl with another EE (She's on the left)...
At the bottom of the picture with 2 other EEs
Bigger picture for more detail (she's still on the left).
She's also different from my other two EE chicks not pictured and the smallest of all of my chickies... but definitely not a bantam (at least I don't think so)...
