One of my austalorps has learned how to cackle today. She jumps up on a stump and goes to town.

How old is she??? I can't wait til my babies stop PPPEEEEEEPPPPING all night long. They act like grecian warriors in their brooder. Running at each other, jumping on each other, fighting over the food bowl. They are like 8 year olds with too much sugar.

shes 24 weeks old and just started laying. shes a hoot.

Whoa. I have a long way to go then - mine are only 4 weeks on Saturday. They are LOUD at night time. 4 buff orpingtons and 2 rir's. So cute, but LOUD.
