... OK still no egg. But yesterday someone scratched around in the nesting boxes for the first time, and today someone pooped in one. Never thought I'd be so excited to find a chicken poo in a box. I figure interest in a neting box is a good sign! I'm inspecting every corner of the run & coop daily just in case the layer doesn't make it.

But then again, apparently I'm the chicken poo expert.

I think it's the skittish RIR. Her comb & wattles are red red red.
