I got my chicks yesterday and have never been more scratched in my life!
You see, i made them balance on my hand once and then they were slipping and...
I'm new to this whole farmer thing so i dont quite know what to do! Can you tell me if:

You can clip chickens nails
How long you clip their flight feathers

I have'nt got any names for my chicks yet. Their girls so some of the names dont exactly
work out since most of them are boys.

Here's some info on clipping wings. I'm not sure clipping young chick wings is a good idea. If it's necessary wait till they have adult feathers.
I've read some people trim nails, but I haven't seen much about that.

I agree with imp, your chicks may be too young for nail or wing clipping. They were probably just scared, keep handling them and it will get better. Maybe making them balance on your hand is not the best way too start.
