It is always a nice thing to have people post pics of thier flock enjoying being a bird.

Well, here ya go. This certainly is not the entire flock of Guineas, but these guys were out back with in camera shot so I thought i would share:

ENJOY, they certainly do.

BTW, once I took this pic and they figured out no treats were involved they moved on to the next adventure.

They weren't but I plan to change up the way I house them so they have their own separate society. Maybe I'll even hatch them under a broody, when I'm ready for them again. I would like to try again with them.

Aaaaah Spring! Our little flock was enjoying themselves immensely today too, soaking up all the sunshine, scratching for bugs.....that is until the big bad hawk came circling over heard. Griffin and I rounded up the girls and got everyone safely under cover for the rest of the day. It's just not fair! My babies haven't had a decent day out in ages. They just get the chance and dangit! That durn hawk had to come by. Oh well, at least this time we saw it before it saw the flock! S/he will just have to find easier pickings someplace else! Ain't gonna happen here today, TYVM!

I visited West Plains one summer about 10 years ago. What a gorgeous area. I think that area is the most beautiful area in the state. The rolling hills were breathtaking. Lucky you for living down in the bootheel.
