We live on 5 acres with a lagoon for septic and thinking about getting some guineas to help with the pest population. Would it be okay to put the guinea coop within the perimeter of the lagoon fencing? There's quite a bit of grass/green space and the fact that it's already all fenced seems to be an ideal place to put the coop. We would eventually want the guineas to free range but have the coop area as shelter.
