Hi, I am new to guineas and I just bought a flock of year old guineas. I can tell the males from the females but what is the best breeding ratio? Do they breed in pairs only like swans or are they like chickens and I can have 1 male to 6-7 females. or can I have more than that? I mainly want to keep to males ( one for backup) and as many of the hens as possible. Any help would be great!

Guineas pair up. Some form life long bonds.

Having more males than females is pretty much normal with a flock of Guineas. And more males means more watchers for the flock.
