My guinea hen is sitting her second batch of eggs this year but there is a huge difference this time. We are on about day 22 and mom keeps leaving the nest. Our average temp is 90 to 94 with humidity about 75 percent . On her last batch come day 22 she wouldn't be caught away from the nest for more than 10 or 15 min but it was cooler like in the 70's. So with the higher temps is it normal for her to be gone 30 to 45 min at a time. I used my digital incubator thermometer at the 45 min mark at the nest temp was 93.4 and mom was headed through the gate to sit on the eggs. Our temp outside right now is 91 and humidity is 78. Should I be worried? I imagine the internal egg temp is higher as when she sat on the eggs she only sat on part of them initially and after 10 min she moved over to cover the others. I candled the eggs this morning and all babies are developing. Most had active movement I imagine some were sleeping. So do I need to worry?

Hens can get away with more than we can when incubating eggs. I would just leave her and the eggs alone as long as they are in a predator proof place.
