Guinea feeding question

Hi, I am in the process of building a coop/run/pen for some guineas, I was wondering if since they wont be free ranging and will sorta miss out on the bugs in their diet if anyones ever put a bug zapper up high in the pen where all the crispy tidbits would fall below and the next morning the birds could get a snack?
I may be insane for wondering this and its cool if you feel the need to tell me this.
the run is 16 wide 8 tall and 48 long. so the zapper could be at one end where its sorta outta the way.

I don't know why a zapper wouldn't work for the guineas. Sounds like a good idea to me.

at the risk of walking into a newbie joke or somthing, I'll bite prissy whats a maggot bucket?
it sounds really vile! never mind I googled it nope, gross, aint gonna happen, they could just have the crispy version or forget the whole deal, nooooooo maggot buckets for me.
