Young guinea fowl chicks should definitely be fed a gamebird product designed for chicks, as they have higher nutritional requirements than chicken chicks. Once they attain laying age, they will do fine on a chicken layer feed. Chickens can eat gamebird feed, though a gamebird layer will not have all the calcium a chicken hen needs, so you would want to provide additional oyster shell if you elect to use a gamebird layer product. (Gamebirds do not generally lay eggs at the same prolific rate as chickens, so their calcium requirements are lower). You can raise chicken chicks on gamebird chick feed, but it will cost you considerably more and it is not necessary to do so.
