Guinea goes broody - New Pics Added

OMGosh they are growin' so fast! Congrats on all 4 makin' it this far! Do I see 2 Pied Peal Grey keets and 2 Lavender keets?

My Free range Hen is still clamped down solid/tight on the 18 eggs I gave her from my Brown/Chocolate flock after she went broody on marked eggs... I have shooed her off a couple times to count the eggs, but I have not been daring enough to grab a bunch and run and candle them... every time I shoo her away she calls in the troops and they all come running, givin' me the what for at the top of their lungs, lol. They know better than to attack me, but I don't dare turn my back on them, especially her, she is wicked evil, lol. I think since I have not let this flock hatch keets in 4+yrs that odds are they will be one big nannie flock and all help raise the babies... I hope anyway. Got news for them tho, if there's any Blondes or Chocolates in her hatch, I'm stealin' them, LOL.

Definitely two pied, the other two - one is a lavender and the other has some light brown in it. Talk about a crazy guinea mother. My wife could always go in the coop a feed them on days we had to lock them down. Now that the babies are in there the mother guinea will attack her if she gets near the door (I have a screen door with hardware cloth on the coop). I am allowed in for some reason. The guinea as a whole are more friendly to her then me. Go figure
