When i went to feed and water today one of my guineas in the pen with my turkeys bolted for the door when the wind blew and is now wondering in the woods. This is the first time it has been out of the pens. I know they cab fly from dogs that's not my worry. We are suppose to be getting that real bad winter weather starting at about 3 today. And Im not sure how long it will last in below freezing temps and freezing rain and snow. Plus my grandmother passed and we are going a hour away today so I can't chase it around the yard. Please tell me it will make it.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you are really in for crazy winter weather, it's probably not going to make it. Especially on its own. I would do what you can to lure it back, sometimes they will come back out of the weather or when it starts to get dark. But, with a guinea, I wouldn't hold my breath, they aren't really well known for their intelligence.

I got it up. Thank god. I went in the house and looked out about 30 min later and It was walking round the pen. I was praying the whole time for it to go in the door and for another one not to come out.
