I just found my second guinea hen presenting odd symptoms. Found one deceased a few days ago, was concerned but many of these are quite old so I chalked it up to old age. Tonight I found two more hens acting ill. Laying on the ground fluffed, heads twisting to one side, lethargic, hardly able to walk. This is my first year with guineas and I don't know what this could be.
Can anyone help me? I have the worst one tucked in a laundry basket, her head is twisting constantly no I think she is on her way out. No new birds have been put into the flock in at least three months, and all new birds were quarantined for three weeks before introduction. This has hit quickly and without warning.
