Why? What color do you think they are? The parents have a faint purple neck.

Hmmm I guess they are common guinea that produce lavender keets!The last two batches had a few gray keets (left and back in picture) Never trust what you are told!!

The little grey ones came from my guineas. They are all the same color, so I don'y know why they are throwing different color keets.
 
It is possible (highly likely actually) that some of your birds are not pure for lavender. These keets look like pearls, so your birds must have pearl in them as well. I'm not sure how that works, since I believe that lavender is recessive

Or they could be a different color entirely. But the light colored ones are the lavender keets, they'll have light purple stripes on their heads when they hatch.
 
The Pearl gene is dominant in guineas like grey in horses. so even if your guineas are lavender. If one of the grandparents was pearl you will produce pearl.
