Do females from early in the year sometimes start laying in the same year?
I have only one adult pair.. she hatched keets a couple months ago.. they are nearly fully grown now but not yet. It looks like the hen has started laying again, and found a nest with guinea eggs in it. However yesterday there were two new eggs in that nest.. got me wondering if the other egg was just a funny looking chicken egg(sure looks guinea though) or one of the young girls started laying?
Do some guineas lay eggs with a slight greenish cast on them? Some of the eggs in that nest looked guinea but had a very slight greenish cast..
