I found my only female guinea that I just bought at a show outside of the coop and something had eaten off her leg, leaving the scaly part and then ate a hole to her abdomenen and ate her innards. It left the rest and really didnt take much of the feathers off. She was next to the big shed the coop is in, so Im guessing what did it was too small to drag off a big guinea...Im not sure if It happened at night as I had my DH lock the poultry up that night and he never counts them all.
What did this?
I also found a rabbit in the summer that was just missing the head and front legs. I was thinking what animal leaves all that meat and goes for the head and legs and innards? And is too small to carry off a big rabbit or a guinea? And Im 99.9% positive that whatever did it was smart enough to get in and out of the rabbit hutch that was locked. Help! I need to know what Im trying to hunt or trap!!
Thanks!!!
