I know that I need to lock up my Guineas for at least two months before letting them free range.

My question: Does that locking up have to be inside the chicken coop? OR, can they be locked inside the outside run with access to the inside coop? The run will have wire over the top so they cannot fly out.

the outside run with access to the coop is probably best so they can start seeing the land they will be ranging on.
