I have read where guinea keets and chicks can share a brooder and bond... well...

I have only one keet that hatched early. At A DAY old, he/she was pecking the chicks so badly that I had to move him. I moved him in with some one week old chicks, and they were running from him... he's like the tazmanian devil!!!

Right now, I have him separated, but should I just let him go with them? He's 1/3 their size, but geez!!! I'm hoping the others hatch soon (one pipped 24+ hours ago and the others nothing... today is day 27).

Thanks!
Holly

Try putting him in a small enclosure inside the brooder with the week olds so they can see him for a few days, then it should be okay to put them together. I raised 4 keets with 3 BSL that were one and 3 that were two weeks younger and they were all fine!
