Guineas

I got some guineas and was wondering if they can fly as good as my old english game bantams?

I've got some 12 week olds and their flying up into the trees when they get spooked. They've been flying up onto the roof of their coop for weeks now. I know nothing about game birds, but guineas fly well, and start young.
