Guitar makers?

Hi there

For my DT project i am making a guitar. I am buying a older one and want to make a new body then fit all the old electronics back to my new body. My price limit is £50. Any good guitar makes to adapt? Or any good tips from anybody who has done this before? Would appreciate any useful info. Thanks in advance!!

Have you seen the website "Instructables"? They have tons of tutorials and tips, with lots of guitar related posts.
