So about 2 months ago 2 of my guneas went missing. I have a lot of wild turkeys that hang out around my house all year round. A few days ago I noticed that one of the groups of turkeys my gunea hen is now living with. Is this normal for gunea hens to do this? I was thinking that maybe one of my guneas died and that one just decided to hang with the turkeys. I have tried to research this and can’t find anything on this. If anyone has any information please respond. Thank you!!!

Guineas will very easily form bonds with turkeys.

I could t believe it when I saw it. I have asked so many people about it and they laugh and joke well your gunea is now a turkey. Turkey hunting just opened in my area and I am super worried! So for the last couple days it’s been hanging out in my far back field all day. I tried researching this on the internet and found nothing.

Last year a member started a thread here about how her guinea hen came home with a wild turkey poult along with the keets she had hatched.

I have tried to get her to come back using the special treats I give my chickens and when I call. But she won’t come close to the house. She will look but they stay a decent distance away.
