So I set up to get some light Sussex eggs on Monday, I also set up to get some guniea eggs but I just looked it up and guniea eggs have a 28 day incubation period. I have two broody hens that have 2 Chicks going pback and forth from one to the other and laying on non fertile eggs, if I put guniea eggs under them would they hatch and care for them or would they abandon them when the 2 chicks they have are a little bigger or maybe when what hatches is not a chicken?

If there are chicks already hatched, most likely they will soon quit setting and leave the nest to care for the chicks. To expect another 28 days out of them is very risky both for the eggs and for the health of the hens.

I gave them eggs from the bator so they haven't been sitting to long but if they will be leaving to take the other chicks out into the world I will wait, thanks.
