Gurgling/raspy

Please advice? Our 1 year old rooster suddenly tonight sounded odd. He has been acting normal and no other symptoms. Every breath sounds very odd. Crop issue versus gapeworm versus respiratory infection. We massaged crop holding him upside down several times. No change. We put probiotic and apple cider vinegar in water. Help please!

If it is sudden it could be something stuck in his throat.

What do we do?

I would get a head lamp and look down his throat.
