My local pet store has 2 kinds of organic chicken layer feed. Both are kind of expensive, but at least I won't have to drive far to get it. They've got H&B for around $35 and Organic Pride for around $25 - 50 lb bags in both cases.

Anyone have experience with these brands? Of course, I'd rather get the Organic Pride since it's much less; unless people here think the H&B is absolutely worth getting.

thanks!

I started my girls out on Organic Pride. Great stuff, they are healthy and active. But I've switched to the organic feed from the Modesto Milling company, a little cheaper and I can pick it up from the mill. Modesto Milling also puts oil of oregano and DE in their feed, that was another reason I switched. Organic Pride is good stuff though, I would have kept using it but I found something manufactured a little closer to home...smells fresher.
