Had to get out.....

I just had to get out of the house. All the rain. My poor wounded rottie. The kids home from school and can't go out to play. I was just about to lose my mind. With everything going on I hadn't had any quality time with my outdoor animals. Of course they were fine. Didn't even act like they missed me at all. Got a few pics of my potbelly Daisy hanging out with the dogs. A few of my new ducklings with momma and daddy. And a couple of the lazy cats. They are just enjoying the few hours of no rain! To get these pics I had mud up to my ankles!!!!!!

Awww... I think they did miss you, their just putting on that 'don't worry about us, we know you're busy' look for you! They do look good, such a fun menagerie!!

Thanks Mudhen. Good but muddy. I had my 13 year old pull up some weeds and stick it in with the ducks. They didn't have anything dry to stand on! That's just a portion of our menagerie! My inlaws call our place Maw and Paw Kettles house! I love it. Wish it would dry up for just a few days so I could get out to the horses! I just talk to them from the back deck!

Thanks Chelly! The ducks are actually swimming in their run. Not in their pool their run! I think they are in duck heaven!

My pig Daisy doesn't like me unless I'm feeding her. Funny since I've had her for 9 years! She doesn't want me to touch her or get close to her. But the dogs can play with her and sleep with her and she'll share her kiddy pool with them. When I took the pics today she thought my camera was food. She was right in my face trying to get it. That's how I got the photos of her looking at me. She was like-drop the camera so I can eat it!
