Planning on breeding these cochins, but I'm pretty sure they are either half siblings, or cousins. Will there be any complications in chicks if they do breed? Tia

I realized that sounded really bad. I didn’t do it on purpose; I didn’t know they were related. Also, I’ve hear that inbreeding in chickens isn’t as serious as other breeds.
all good! accidents happen I understand. also that's good, hopefully I can successfully breed these guys

Inbreeding is not a big deal when it comes to poultry. It takes take quite a few generations of inbreeding before you start getting defective offspring. It should be fine to breed the two together as long as they are healthy.
thanks!! thats good

Inbreeding isn't bad, it's breeding genetic defects that's bad.
Inbreeding will bring to light recessive genes that would have stayed hidden if crossed to unrelated birds so it's important to eliminate genetic defects. Inbreeding can also enhance good genes. Inbreeding is a tool, not inherently bad or good.
