(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
-I am new to personally owned chickens, but back when I was a zookeeper I would cover for the Children’s Farm keeper and care for that flock. I loved it!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
-0....awaiting our hatchday! Planning for 15ish...
(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred Rock, Speckled Sussex, Black Australorps, and Black Laced Red Wyandottes
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
-Best eggs—EVER! And chickens are fun to watch, different personalities and such.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
-gardening and crocheting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
-cat, dog, 3 kidlets, and one large (self-proclaimed) man-child.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
