hate to tell you this, but I don't think you have a silkie...not a pure one at least. Those are hard feathers coming in....and light colored skin...do you have any recent pics?

can u get a good pic of its feet. it dont look silkie with tho feathers coming in. it looks like a mix or a cochin. but u said it has 5 toes soo its most likly a mix. and it may be a splash

Not a silkie my dear. It's gonna be a while before we can make many more guesses. Get another pick at 6-8 weeks and we can make better guesses.
