My daughter's snack day is this Friday (she's in Kindergarten). Since I have time and cooking know-how, I would like to do something Halloween themed but need some ideas. One boy is diabetic.

Thanks

Are you sure the school lets you bring homemade treats? If so, that's great! But, a lot of the schools aren't letting people do that due to allergies and hygiene issues.

A quick and easy snack is pumpkin shaped cookies and let the kids decorate them with candy corn eyes and orange frosting.

You could also cut up apples and cheese using fall cookie cutters. I have some that make leaves, pumpkins, and things like that.

What about toasted pumpkin seeds? You could make pumpkin bread, too.

you have all those eggs-Angel food cake! It is acceptable for the diabetic child too.(check of course)
They can each have a slice and then decorate them w/candy & fruit.
