can anyone tell me if silver spangled hamburgs go clucky easily? I am looking at getting some, but after my last lot of chickens (wyndotte) 3 out of 4 went clucky i want a breed that is going to lay not just sit around!!

I haven't heard that phrase in years.

I imagine some do... when I was a kid we had some leghorns that would go broody!

We have 3 SSH hens. They are very active & flighty. Not one of them has hinted at broodiness. They are very pretty girls.
My Little Roo (avatar) is a SSH too.

I thought this was going to be a thread about some fast food chain mixing in some percentage of chicken meat in with the hamburgers to save on food costs! LOL
