I just recently got a hamster

finally! Her name is Rhino

But anyways, I got her a nice tank and wire cage made to fit on top of the tank and plenty of chew toys, a wheel, two water bottles, a ball, two huts and food of course. But she STILL chews on her cage! It's not even only the wire part of the cage, she chews on the tank too. There's some sort of glue like substance to hold the walls together, well yeah, she chews on that. What should I do? Even one of her huts is edible!

Its normal for them to chew the silicone. Not much you can do, just keep providing her with chewies. Try different things see which one she likes best. I find they love to shred cardboard. Maybe give her an empty kleanex box and some toilet paper tubes. Get some apple tree branches and try those too.
I have a charcoal teddy bear hamster who still doesnt have a name in the Crittertrail Discovery Deluxe cage.

thank you! i just wanted to make sure i wasn't doing anything wrong or that could possibly hurt rhino. so thanks for the help!
