Hamsters

I have two hamsters, and I am going to tell you all about them. Why? Because I can.
I got Albert from Petsmart last year in June. He was on sale. He is fat and lazy and on a diet. He's very mellow.

Albert is probably a oddly colored Winter White.

I got Yuri a little over a week ago. He is either a young Campbell's Russian or an adult Roborovski. He's very hyperactive, running on his wheel for hours at a time until he almost passes out. That pretty much sums up Yuri.

I am bored, and the world shall pay.

Cute little guys and very entertaining. The above does not sound good and hopefully you're not being serious. Many of us are bored; especially now that we're shut in with the virus. Should you need someone to visit with, I am here. And I've had about every kind of pet there is; including hamsters. I am a retired science, art, and history teacher. Got a topic? I rather enjoy conversing with people.

That is one crazy looking chicken.

He is different; just six inches tall at a whooping 11 ounces. He acts more like a parrot than a chicken, bowing his head to get a scratch or two and coming to sit near or on me. Yes, he's a crazy little guy.

He acts more like a broody hen when the missus has chicks.
